By investing in good photos, your customer are able to understand your product more quickly. There are two ways to take in information: image-based or text-based. Professional photos combined with meaningful text enable your customers to absorb information quickly and more intuitively.
Photos are very useful for machine/facility construction, for very large objects, when 3D files are incomplete, and when people need to be included in the image statement.
Often, many photos must be produced quickly and edited skillfully, since they are a key element of the instructions.
On-site photography
Wherever your product is located, we will come and photograph it. We help you create the best environment and ensure you achieve the desired results. We’ll also let you know how many people are needed on site and how long they are needed for.
Photo lists
Our authors always talk through all the photos they need with our photographer before the photo shoot. This means that our photographers are optimally prepared with a list of all photos required. We will forward this list to you, naturally, if you plan on supplying us the photos.
Editing images
Even professional photos require some specific editing work. Arrows, numbers, transparencies, spots, frames and colour editing are used to strengthen the image’s message and improve the focus and orientation of the photo.

Are you unable to permit external photographers on-site? Our photography guidelines can help you with tips and an overview of all the necessary photo types, so that your employees will be able to take photos, provided they have the proper equipment.

Photographers will take a multitude of photos based on complex factors such as light, viewing angle and function. Then, together with the graphic designer or photographer, our authors select the photos best suited for the documentation.
