2D illustrations help us understand objects and sequences. That’s why technical illustrations and information graphics are so important in our technical writing. Technical illustrations can be found in almost any documentation – as a dimensional drawing, circuit diagram or performance diagram. They clearly present factual information in a simple way, often with previously defined symbols and icons.
Information graphics have a different approach: they visually present processes, dependencies and facts efficiently, clearly and vividly. Colours, structure and styles reinforce your visual perception of the content. 2D illustrations are intended to visualise information clearly. Diagrams, sequences, dimensional drawings or rating plates are just a few examples.
The Adobe Creative Suite includes all the program for creating or post-processing 2D graphics. We label graphics so that they can be translated into any language. Technical documentation is energised with illustrations. That’s why we strive to find the best possible combination of statement and appearance.
2D illustrations
Creating or revising all types of 2D illustrations. Taking advantage of the creativity of our graphic designers and a wide range of software, we design individual styles as well as standardised layouts as vector or pixel graphics.
Icons and symbols
Icons and symbols attract attention and are understood non-verbally in the same way across different cultures. This makes them an ideal means to convey important information. Their appearance should not be underestimated.
Button libraries
Buttons are ubiquitous and standardised throughout the machine/facility construction sector. For our customers, we use standard button libraries that map the button layout and allow the labelling to be edited and translated. Thus, any last-minute changes to the labelling on the machine can be easily synchronised with your instructions.
